Salesgenie.com Boosts Efficiency on the Road

One of the many challenges in managing a sales team that’s always on the go is maximizing the efficiency of the team when they’re on the road. You want them to visit good prospects, but not spend a lot of time getting back and forth to see them. You want them to identify and research high quality leads, but not spend a lot of time in the office doing so. In answer to these challenges, Salesgenie.com, a provider of online solutions for sales effectiveness management, has released two new enhancements for on-the-go sales reps. Here’s a look at each of them.

Salesgenie Mapping. Salesgenie.com has incorporated Google Maps API Premier to help sales reps locate their prospects, as well as other opportunities in the area, when they’re on the road. Reps identify their targeted leads and Salesgenie maps them, giving reps a graphical display of all the locations. When the rep highlights a specific lead on the map, he can instantly see the details of the lead, including photos, profile information such as company size, sales volume, and so on. The maps can be used to visually identify clusters of sales prospects, view the locations of previously identified customer opportunities, and print out maps highlighting addresses for a sales trip. Furthermore, reps can use the standard interactive features of Google Maps, such as driving directions, to get from one place to the next most efficiently. Salesgenie Mapping is available now to Salesgenie.com subscribers.

Salesgenie Mobile. Salesgenie.com subscribers can now access their existing leads or search for new prospects via Internet-enabled mobile phones such as BlackBerry, Apple iPhone, Palm, Treo, or any other similar device. The mobile-enabled features include full access to Salesgenie.com’s Contact Manager and its targeted sales lead data including business and consumer sales lead profiles. Reps can also use their phones to access the Followups listing, which helps users keep up on key activities. Finally, all phone number information in Salesgenie Mobile is embedded in click-to-call links, enabling one-touch rapid dialing. "By powering up their mobile phones to becomes a lead management and prospecting tool, we are helping [sales professionals] increase their efficiency and time in the field," explains Mark Israelsen, president of Salesgenie.com.
